Bought it after all. Now waiting for it to arrive. Eagles Farewell Tour... Would be an exceptional concert Blu-ray in my collection. There is a review of this Blu-ray at The Eagles: Farewell I Live From Melbourne Blu-ray and it's an interesting read.

Will surely look at others you have mentioned.

That review is spot on. Its 1080i and not "true" HD in terms of PQ, still its good. The audio has excellent detail and clarity, I have quite a few live album CDs and most of them don't have the detail of a studio recording... too much going on, or bad mixing... or maybe the microphones were not placed correctly, but they sound muddy. The audio here is excellent, lots of detail, you can pick up subtle variations and instruments and its extremely enjoyable... especially if you love the Eagles. The 5.1 treatment is also spot on... you get the audience banter and cheering correctly spaced and then the band speaking and singing is spot on and dead center. Its an aural experience in 5.1 HD audio in addition to already good music from the Eagles.

You will not be disappointed, a good Blu-ray to own.
