I do not think you will get any router with inbuilt Torrent capability out of the box as officially none of the companies support it. But you can get a router which can be rooted with either DD-WRT and get this feature enabled/scripted with some commands. This way you can connect a external HDD to the router's usb port and you are good to go for torrent downloading/tracking etc.,

Some asus routers have built-in download manager. You can also flash them with DD-WRT as mentioned above and install a better client. But there are mixed reviews about the download capability. I considered a router first, but then found a raspberry pi is a better option. You can assemble Raspberry Pi for around 3K

I have an Asus RT n13u B1 , it has a built in torrent client. It is is reliable for occassional or small downloads say upto 2gb.you have to attach an external drive for the same. You can't select the files to download from a torrent file and have to always download an entire torrent.

I have asus rt-n56 which has inbuilt torrent (out of box, no rooting / dd-wrt). There is a utility you need to install in PC, through which you will initiate the torrent download and check the status. I have connected 32GB pen drive and tested downloading upto 8GB download. I haven't connected my external HDD so far in the router, but i am sure that should work.

I concur with this approach of using devices that can support a full fledged bit torrent client for better control over torrents as compared to routers or nas boxes with built in Torrent clients (I had similar DNS-323) or even USB Sharing devices like IOmega iConnect. I use a old (keyboard does not work, screen is also not in the best working condition) Netbook which has utorrent and I control utorrent over browser using its web-gui.

I am using a RT-56U from Asus and I am happy with this. I believe RT-n13 is also equally good. I have a USB hard drive attached to the router and I also use the router's inbuilt media server.
The router has a nice little torrent client app for droids and iOS and you can add, remove, pause your torrents from that (when you are on the network).

Also, with the media center up and running you can stream to almost all your devices, I also have a lan cord running to my TV from the router, so I can stream it straight away once it is downloaded.

Just one thing is n56u does not support dd-wrt and sometimes the interface is a little cloggy, but the rest is good.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
