Samsung 2014 Plasma HDTV Line-up Revealed

As expected it's a scaled down version and not a flagship model. People who can still get their hands on should go for a 64F8500 while stocks last.

There is going to be only 64inch H5000, and that's the only new Full HD plasma model Samsung would launch this year. There are lot of talks about the H7000 being scrapped.

Last year's models would continue with the same model number for some time. Not sure for how long.

Dont burn others money for god sake

To all the people ..Here is the real video of 64F8500 he is telling us to buy

It looks fugly and dull

If u buy this lifelong you will be searching for dark rooms and your life becomes bhoot.

100 times i have told never buy plasma and destroy your life which your parents designed well. Take advise of your parents and buy CRT or LED.

Invisible, don't want to hear your plasma crap. I am fed up of it, have seen many posts where you are just trying to push Sony to all folks in forum, i do not know whether you are a dealer or sony marketing guy, who is trying to do a brand campaign to push sales here.

You also got banned due to this, i am surprised the ban was lifted.

If you don't own the set don't give gyan on it. First buy one and then talk about it. I have the 64F8500 and if you would have owned one you would have known that it does not need a dark room to be used. It works very well in the lit room. Also if you find the picture dull, then probably you did not see a set which was calibrated properly.

For your general knowledge 64F8500 is known for its PQ and performance.
Also have you ever seen any movie theater that plays a movie with the lights on, if not then you should try and understand why. Learn the concept and the technology behind it, don't blindly be emotional or keep downgrading a brand or technology.

Buy plasma and destroy life ... what the heck is that , take advice of parents and buy CRT or LED. I do not know when the last time you visited a showroom, but no company is manufacturing a CRT anymore.

I have seen and owned multiple plasma's and had no issues. Still have one running great for over 7 years and doing duty.

Also what has parents advice got to do with buying a CRT or LED ? What reference to context is this discussion on.

Every forum member here is mature, to see and audition what they like and want to buy. No one is forced into buying something which they don't want and users share the pros and cons.

Admin's apologies in advance, but it's time someone spoke up as this has been going on for a long time and we are tolerating this. That's my 2 cents on this.

very well done!!!

I have 42ST30D, and I absolutely love the picture quality, and fell in love with plasma.

After reading about F8500, I want to know whether it is worth to upgrade from ST30 to F8500 and its price

.

I also have the lowly 43E490 bought two years back and have no regret of the purchase. I have to chase away many advisors like this "invisible" man. But many faint hearted were fell on the way to the nirvana ( of buying a plasma) and plasmas are increasingly difficult to find.

The article says it all, that's the reason why i said that if someone want's a great plasma they should buy 8500 if in budget as long as you have stocks. As nothing better is going to come out anymore. Panasonic is already history, so there is still an opportunity to own one of the best plasma's available for use.

Hope technology advances and we get better PQ sets as OLED are still very expensive and out of common man's reach.
