Samsung 43E470 + 3.5 mm audio jack spk system connectivity

How to connect a simple spk system having 3.5 mm jack in 43E470 Samsung plasma TV. I called to Samsung CC he told me there is no Headphone socket in this TV. The only way to connect a Stereo system with optical audio output port.

If it has RL line out then you can use a 2RCA to 3.5mm adapter.

^^^ best answer.even I had the same problem before buying onjyo 3400...
get a adaptor 2 rca MALE TO 1 3.5 mm FEMALE.......readily avilable in e bay..120 something..if locally avilable u can get them at 35 bucks max..

connect 2 male rca with tv rca out female.....connect ur speker input male 3.5 into female of 3.5...okay.now find in the tv remote sound out on/off or like that option in settings.u r cool.

This tv got no rca out jack..so optical to analog converter needed..if you don't have this model atleast check specification in samsung website before commenting.

ahh ok I did not check the specks really..sorry.it has rca in only?...check it.sometimes the same port can be used for in and out.. <----> like this sign under the port...
or ----> that is only in.......
if this does not work then there is a way out also.......connect ur pc spekers dirctly by the above method with ur stb rca output......
tatasky stbs feed via hdmi and via rca simultaneously..I checked
if local stb..thene also no problem..yellow cable to tv..red and white to speaker..simple.

but if cable connection......in my suggestion change that to fully enjoy ur tv..

before investing an amount whatever small it may be into optical to analouge converter try all methods.....
