Samsung 6 Series LED TV or LG SL90 Series?

Hi,

Whch one is better - Samsung 6 Series LED TV or LG SL90 Series LED TV? Please provide your valuable suggestion.

Are you looking at the Samsung C series or B series. If you are looking at B6000 then i would say go for it. The current market price for B6000 is really value for money. At the price you are getting it is much better then LG SL90.

MRP of Samsung UA46B6000VR is Rs 1,50,000 whereas MRP of LG 47SL90QR is Rs 1,24,990.

Why do you then say that Samsung B6000 is value for money? It will be really helpful if you could point out some features because of which Samsung B6000 could be considered better than LG SL90.

B Series is last years series. Since the new C series is coming out the dealers are selling this TV for an amazing price. Nobody sells it at MRP. I think i remember B6000 46 avaliable for around 85-95 range. I am not saying SL90 is bad but i do feel that at 85-95 range B6000 would be much better.

Please do look at the price thread, you would probably get more info on the current prices.

Consult adder who has demoed both these TVs. I have not seen the SL90.
Samsung 6 series LED TV is good. But IMO, the B650 (normal) LCD is better.

I saw 7series LED & I can say looks better than SL90.

i would completely agree, i saw one (b650) for the first time at chroma ghatkopar a few days ago, where is was discounted down to Rs 100k, clearly, unambigously the best TV i saw over there in the 46/47 size class.

I WOULD SAY SL90 is much better. I personally compared both the models of Samsung 6 series and Sl90 side by side and found SL90 picture quality and contrast ratio much better. Easy tune wizard and USB access menus are much faster in LG than samsung.

I had purchased 47 SL90 recently and connected to my AVR 255. Really enjoying the picture quality on my LG.
