I have this player lying idle (along with a pair of 3-D glasses). Can this player play all sorts of files from an external HDD? Does it accept NTFS?
If yes, I can do away with one of my media players and start using this.

Suggestions pl.

If not, I might put it up for sale, if I get the right price.

i have the same player
works beautifully on all formats and also its fast

works with NTFS, i have 500 GB and 1TB discs that i connect and use.
The streaming using wifi and DLNA is also good.

This player can also be made DVD region free by remote hack.
you can search this forum for my post, where i gave steps to do it.

I infact sold my PopCorn Hour Media Player, after i got this Player.

Unless you are using ISO files, FLV, RMV formats, which it doesnt play, you are GOOD to sell ur media player.

Thank You, Raju. Let me try it. Is there a way it can be made region-free for BDs?

Does it play wav and Flac files? I want to use it only for playing music files (I
am now using a PoHD which suck big time - too many glitches).

Any other interesting feature that I should know?

audio formats i am not sure, apart from wav and mp3
u need to play and check, or check specs of the product online

cannot be made BD region free.

dont give so much importance, most BD's are region free
i dont miss this, all the movies i want are available region free in USA and UK at cheap prices.

You could connect several HDDs and other USB memory cards even with multiple partitions and the player detects them all. I connected my SGS phone and after I mounted both the internal and external memory (microSD, etc), it detected them both. I also connected an HDD with multiple partitions of NTFS and FAT32 and it detected them successfully (using another USB for power requirement - as this player do not provide enough power for standalone USB HDDs).
