suggest please !

The sony won't show the text as clear as a monitor in HDMI mode,but is perfectly fine for watching movies and game in a computer.

Why not try the Panasonic S10. I had similar choices but bought the S10 since it had the clearest text via HDMI and was very easy on the eyes too. It's the last of the 'well-made' Panasonic LCD tvs now

LG Jazz Theatre is an excellent choice providing XLNT value for money. It's picture quality is great, as many review sites have attested. In fact, in DIGIT magazine's March 2009 issue of HDTV shootout, the older Jazz model 42LG80FR was awarded the Digit Best Performer. And this despite there being models from other brands like Sony, Samsung, Hitachi, Panasonic, etc. So despite what many "experts" may tell you about its PQ the Jazz Theatre is a good pick. To top it all off, it has 10 speakers with a total output of 700W PMPO. So sound-wise there is really no competition. Let me type out an extract from the review of LG Jazz in DIGIT's March 2009 issue:
This was perhaps one of the most attractive looking displays we received...... In terms of performance the 42LG80FR is a scorcher. It did well across the board with Display Mate with good rendition of colours and a good contrast ratio. Throughout our movie tests we had no colour aberrations or any sort of problems. It does excellently well with 1080p content and even displays lower resolution stuff well. Text rendition is clear, crisp and with great detail making reading even long documents a pleasure. If you want to use your display as a monitor or even to read the odd e-book this display should be at the top of your priority list........... This display was our (joint) Digit Best Performance winner and comes highly recommended for anyone shopping for a 42-inch LCD display.
PS: The other "joint" winner was a mammoth 70 inch LCD display from Sony (KDL-70X3500)
The Jazz Theatre is a slight improvement on the 80FR series so you should expect similar, if not better performance.
The 32 Jazz Theatre is available in Delhi for around 35.5k. Availability may be an issue though.

The B530 is a great panel, hd looks too good and sd is not that bad compared to my 720p. But it looses out in sound ..... sound is crap ... the worst i have heard on any of the tv's ive used which include a450, a330, panasonic x20.

@shredder
Thx.. Bt y have u said "Availability may be an issue though". has LG stopped manufacturing LG Jazz Theatre????

From what I understand based on the posts of a forum member trying to purchase Jazz Theatre in Bangalore, he was told by shops that this model is discontinued. But you can never trust these salespeople. The product is still listed on the LG website
LG Jazz Theatre Widescreen LCD TV - Model 32LH60YR LCD
so I think it is still in production. Anyway in Delhi I think you should be able to locate it as Delhi is the central hub.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
