I bought a LA40C550 Samsung LCD TV recently. It has a DLNA client inbuilt that lets me play movies on it thorugh my DLNA servers. Now, this works flawlessly mostly for me apart from one niggle. If I have another DLNA client running on the network (yes, client. Not server) then the TV doesn't detect the DLNA servers at all.
I tried with 4 different DLNA servers running on my network (2 on my router, 1 on my linux laptop, 1 on my office windows 7 laptop) with PS3 and TV switched on. PS3 detected all 4 but TV didnt detect any. As soon as I switched off the PS3, TV detected all 4. My laptops can detect the other DLNA servers fine even when PS3 is switched on.
Anyone else seen this issue or knows the solution?
