Samsung Plasma TV 43 inch

Hi Friends,

I am posting regarding the Samsung Plasma PS43F4100AR which is not in working condition.
Issue: only power led blinks twice but no further working.

As per samsung engineer visit the Y board is short circuit. And need to change the entire Yboard which cost total 8000/- incl all charges and taxes. This TV was bought in 2014. Is it worth to spend 8000/- now or is there cheaper way to get this TV running again? I am from Ludhiana in case any one has any lead for repair.

I think it's time to say goodbye to your plasma TV.
My 43H4900 had the same Y board failure 4 years after purchase.
Samsung quoted me 20k for repair including panel replacement.
This was back in 2018. Instead I ordered a spare from UK eBay. Cost me Rs. 2500. And replaced it myself.
It worked for 2 more years and the same board failed again.
It has found it's rightful place in the attic ever since.
