Samsung smart tv VS LG Smart tv

Much has been said of the competition between Samsungs 75 Smart TV and LGs 84 4K Cinema 3D TV at the upcoming IFA Berlin 2012? Who do you guys think will come out on top?

Well, I think it's a bit hard to compare two brands who are on the top in term of consumer electronics market. The technology that comes with them are way different.
If we compare both the models, I will adore LG not because I own it but also due to latest tech implemented in the same.
LG uses passive 3D glasses in their smart TV which have been proved to be flicker free a and Samsung uses active glasses which are said to have flicker in them(though I am not sure about the current status of the same)
I have still to use the apps of my LG smart TV so I am not in a position to differentiated them on that basis.

Until Samsung migrates to passive 3D, LG takes the cake for me as this 84 screen is an Ultra Definition Cinema 3D TV with a very expansive 3D media library. Moreover, screens this big are ideally to be used for a Home Theatre setup so a passive 3D unit is much better for that purpose.
