I am using one I got from a FM and am happy with it.

The Hyderabad one is slightly expensive. Check ebay. There is a silver one going for Rs. 12500.

I have one amp of this same model since 1982 , presently I have it set up at my native place home on my system there . It served me quite well for good 17 years On my primary or first system till I got into tube amp. Never had any problem , except after long storage and not in use for 7 years I had to get it serviced locally . No parts ever replaced. Very Good amp .
Reg price , I do not have much idea , but you can get some less price if you negotiate.
This is made in Japan unit , so good mfg standards.

Typical mid fi sansui sound. Built heavy & should work well with whatever you pair it with. Played with this model quite a bit due thanks to FM hemant waghe, who had one for sale. Ideal for someone who likes bass in his music.

Price should be around 10k if all works well.

had a sansui aud7 for almost 20 yrs. Sound is good. Was lying unsed for almost 10yrs since i shifted to an avr. Just gave it away recently for 5k.

Sansui aud 7 is good but not as good as the au 317,517... series

using sansui AU D11 to drive my vintage yamaha NS1000M speakers. nice series.sound from D11 is very good, i hope the same may applicable with D7 also.
soft punch with nice highs.

I have used Sansui AU D7 for several months and was very happy with its performance. Its quite far from being neutral but its very musical. Can drive big floorstanders also comfortably.

I have also just got one a couple of months ago from an FM. Seems to be working well. I use it with a Pioneer or ADC Equalizer. It has a pretty solid bass reproduction which is useful if you connect Internet radio through it. Cheers
