I just picked these up earlier this week. Right now they are at about 40-50 hours of burn in. I'll be sure to post my thoughts on them.
I purchased the pair out of fear that my MX580's were about to run their course. I have abused these earbuds for years. I figured since they were so cheap, I'd just pick up another pair. I have no idea how they still work. It's extremely impressive, since my OK2's broke on me several times in a 1 year period. Anyways, I started to get bored of the MX 580's sound quality and eventually considered an upgrade; it's bigger brother, the MX 880.
Initial impressions are positive. They're a solid pair of headphones, but I expected more. Around the 30 hour mark I started to lose faith in them. The very next day I couldn't help but smile as the 880's quickly dissipated any doubts that I previously had.
I'll expand more later, but for the moment they will be unamped. I'm going to pick up a FiiO E11 in the near future and I'll give you guys a detailed review.
