I have been hunting for a good LED 3d since the last few days and happend to see the sharp and waned to share it our form members and would like to know if any one is interested in buying the same. Find the links below for reviews and spec

They say it out performs or at par with the samsung 8 series LED tv. And here is what makes u want this tv. The price is hardly 50% of what you would pay for the samsung. Please check then links below.

True they are not serious about india. But they are serious about the TV right. And for that price, I guess if your seriously interested in buying, we could ask shopyourworld.com people to get it down for us. I have a already got a quote of 97k. But i feel its high when compared to the 1200$ for which u can get it in The US.

The 46" quattron is around 100k in India with bill and wty. Sharp recently had a demo show in the office complex I work in (ITPL). Nice looking TVs at decent prices.

Hay, You mean to say this particual model is avaiblabe in india with india sharp warrenty? That sounds great if its true. Between the price is almost double when compared to the US. But anyways do let us know where do they have it avilable in india.

I have no idea where this tv is avilable in india. i just was hunting for a tv and landed up on this sharp. Please let me know your reviews on this tv. And is it worth buying. From the reviews i am seriously considering it. Would love to have it shipped from the US for 1200$ with two free 3d sharps new slim glasses available on Amazon.com

guys, guess wat? i just read a option on this TV. You can pause and rewind live tv programs with just the TV itself. You do not need to buy them with your tata sky or airtel hd DTH connections.

They still have only the 2010 tv models.

I am talking about the 2011 TV models. The 3D tv models. Check the US sharp website.

Was it the 3d model that was displayed?

Yup they had all models from 42" all the way up to 60" on display. Modern World on airport road is the official distributor of Sharp TVs.

I'd not recommend importing a TV from the US simply cos of all the NTSC/PAL issues.

Those features are only meant if you using the built in digital tuner.

I just checked with modern world. They only have 2010 line up tvs in which only the 60" LED model is 3D.

But still i would like to know a little bit about why u said it has issues when we import them from the US.

Almost all US TVs support only NTSC and do not support PAL. So in essence you won't be able to play any TV content and would be limited to content from a PC/Media Player/Bluray player.
