Shopping abroad - ICC World

Hi, I am planning to order an item from Newegg using ICCWorld. The all-inclusive quote given by them is quite reasonable, but hwz the service?
Is it safe to pay full in advance to them? Also, hwz the delivery time?
Can they ask for more money at delivery time (the quote given is all-inclusive)?

Plz advice..

I have used Aramex's SnS before, but never used ICCWorld.

I've used their services on many occasions.

I've usually received the quote within 12 hours of sending requirements through the website.

The item is usually ordered within minutes of my making payment by CC (I still can't figure out how they do that). Items have been received between 6 days to 10 days of placing the order. Any delay bas always been in the seller/shop delivering the item to them. The item has always been delivered at my address within 3 days of its receipt from the seller/shop.

On placing the order they give us a tracking number that lets us track the item at every stage of purchase and delivery. I'm waiting for a fan controller I ordered a few days back, and I am informed that the item just passed Mumbai customs today. I'll most likely get delivery tomorrow or the day after at the latest.

I've always ordered from Amazon.com.

A friend to whom I mentioned this service has gone totally crazy about it and places an average of 2 orders a month through them. He's bought pretty high value items through them. Last I spoke to him he'd bought an Optoma HD66 from Amazon.

My friend's Aunt who got wind of the service through him has bought pretty expensive and large kitchen items and food processing equipment from Amazon.

So overall I'm very confident about their service.

Once the product reaches Indian soil and passes Indian customs, do they deliver through their own courier network or do they outsource to a third party courier?

i have used icc many times. once their own people delivered it to me in bangalore. another time they used blue dart. it is possible that may depend on the size/value of the item.

@shredder, all my purchases via ICCWorld have been delivered via Blue Dart.

I know for a fact that a 30k-odd item that a friend ordered via ICCWorld was also delivered via Blue Dart.
