Its best to go with placement suggestion in the receiver and speaker manuals. Rear placement would probably be too far from the couch.

Your listening position is too close to the screen. Dipole was not the best kind of speakers for this distance/ envelope.

Since the rear wall is too far from your couch, you can mount them on the side walls.

Can the left speaker be hanged on the left side ceiling using a bracket..and the right side speaker will be mounted to the wall to the right?

But you don't want anyone to bang their head on the speaker I guess?
Ideal option is to mount the left surround on the side where the wall ends (8 ft from the front?)

If you can see the attached image about the rear dipole speakers...

The Both the Positive points connecting the left and right speaker are on opposite sides ...But if we compare this with the sonodyne speakers both the speakers are similar (no seperate L and R speakers with opposite polarity)...can we swap the polarity of the speakers according to this picture

No.... Don't worry about swapping the polarity... Juz leave it as it is... They do a very good job of surrounds...

Yes, right wall has window and left wall is a bit far away... Also have plans to mount in the backside of the wall instead of sideways

Hmmm Understand... Even if your speakers are away, the auto calibration will make necessary adjustments... So my guess is you shouldn't have any trouble.... Anyways try mounting your speakers side ways first, run the calibration... If you are not satisfied, then think of other options...

Is it fine to mount the dipoles on the rear?

From my understanding, Dipoles are best mounted on the side walls..I would suggest you try mounting on the rear walls...
