Sony 40W900A or 46W950A

Friends, understood that both Sony 40W900A or 46W950A are 2013 models and the current price offer I have received from Chennai is 72000 for 40W900A and 102000 for 46W950A. I am just confused about which model to go for. Although not much features for picture Quality and clarity are added in the current 2014 range to my knowledge and also panel remaining same for 2013 and 2014 ranges, I need advise from you all to help me decide which model to go for.

40 Inch TV is enough for me and the only thing which I need to know is that can i for these 2013 models for the Quoted price now?

The prices i have got is from Chroma and Reliance.

Purchase will be made in a couple of days. I m also looking for options to buy TV from Police canteen through my friend( i have no idea about it and skeptical whether these TVs will be listed)

Not much difference. There will be one more panel over normal panel for w950A.PQ wise performance wise everything is same.if you want 46 inch then go w950a else w900a is more than enough. I'm using it more than 1 year with more than 1600 hrs on this. It is great and the best led tv last year.

Yes, I am buying 900a only for its 200Hz panel as 900b seems to be a 100Hz panel. My mind says why to spend 30 thousand extra for just six inches and invest that in a AV receiver and heart says go for the Big screen. Just bloody confused.

To add up the confusion, the 950a comes with zero % EMI.

If 40" is sufficient for your room viewing, I guess its the best TV one can buy. Recently my bro bought one and we were extremely pleased with the PQ and 3D quality.

listen to your mind and go for the 40incher IMO if thats sufficient for you, invest the balance in a HT system.also buy additional warranties if possible,just in case.

How did u check ? Did u check with light off. You need specific slide to check that. If you checking when there is no signal, then it will be pure black.

Anyways, better you don't check. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.
