Hi,

I am planning to purchase 42" LED Tv.
I have done some research through online and found two models as per my requirement.

Sony w650a
1. Better Refresh rate [200Hz]
2. Contrast ratio 10,00,000:1
3. LED panel

LG ls5700
1. 120 Hz refresh rate
2. Contrast ratio 50,00,000:1
3. LED IPS Panel

Through Contrast ratio can't be compared much. Refresh rate between 120 to 200 Hz is negligible. LG tv comes with IPS, so better color reproduction.

What's your opinion and any other alternatives?

Go with the w650, it's a superior tv...and it has a VA panel which has much deeper blacks then the LGs IPS panel.
According to me, w650 is a much superior tv be it the screen, or it's xreality pro engine.

Do check out the panasonic 42e6d too...brilliant tv n comes with a 3 yr warranty too.
It's got better reviews then even the Sony w650 series...n has got 5/5 stars on whatshifi.
IMO, of the best set one can buy in 42" or 32" today.
Google it...n see for yourself...the outstanding reviews it's got.

Thanks for the suggestion
But I have seen only 1yr warranty in online shop. Are you sure? How it's better compare to others. This model is not available in local store, so couldn't check personally

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
