Hi guys,
As you can see I am a long time lurker. After many years of patient waiting and fulfilling all other domestic responsibilities, my time finally seems to have arrived. If all goes well I should get a 5.1 system up and running by the end of this month, but thats for another thread.:licklips:

As part of my incremental creep up the HT ladder I bought a Sony 55" EX720 which has served me well these past 1-2 years. Except for one stuck pixel and my little daughter's penchant to go up to the TV and try and touch her favorite cartoon buddies, its ok.

My problem is this, the TV is wall mounted using the Sony supplied bracket and the TV is so damn close to the wall I cannot put my hand in between the gap. The HDMI cable I am sure will get damaged as its back end would get compressed against the wall.

As the new 5.1 system is coming up i am planning to shift the TV to another wall and set it up properly. Is there any other compatible bracket where the TV would have some significant offset from the wall or even a something like a telescopic attachment or something. Nothing too fancy or expensive. Would Sony have an alternative bracket? I tried searching the website but there doesn't seem to be anything. Original Sony or another make which I could buy before I call their service guys to shift the TV. I saw some stuff on ebay but I dont know how reliable they would be.
Any pointers would be helpful.

Thanks!

Jay

Contact Uday Kumar for wallmount. Many have referred him in this forum. He is one of those guys (probably some tie-up with sony) who does the wall mount. He is located in chennai and would recommend wallmounts for your setup. Professional setup - that's assured. Check threads for his feedback.
