Comparing to other avr, what you suggest for this sony avr which is available @27k. Also can it able to dtive BS XS speakers. Hfi experts please review.
This AVR seems to be promising and has the capability to deliver 100w RMS power per channel at 8 ohms load. It will easily drive the Bostons which are 100w RMS at 8 ohms load.
I drive the Bostons on a NR 1402 Marantz which is 50w RMS per channel and enjoy good room filling quality sound.
I am not sure about the SONY's performance but perhaps a couple of YouTube searches may yield some user demos posted which can help to take the right decision.
One thing to keep in mind is after sales service. Almost all famous AVR brands are making products to compete with each other and be a market winner. You need to choose carefully and pick what suits your requirement and budget.
