I picked up new LG 3.1 soundbar for my parents old Sony TV with HDMI ARC port, HDMI 2 port is connected to Android tv box, amazon basic hdmi cables (4K@60hz).
Soundbar does not seamlessly connect to the TV/ tv box. I have to go through an annoying cycle of resetting the TV, restarting the soundbar/tvbox and a few other steps for the soundbar to work, in the end it always looks like connection by chance.
Just want to check if someone had experienced similar issue and resolved. I do not think expensive cables are the solution, when it finally works PQ and SQ is as expected.
