Yes.. Possible. And you are right... A26 can do lil more than A23 in freq handling..

So if you are considering HTS2310 & BA26 together, that makes it a good 7.1 system, will serve you needs for music/movies...

No, I am not looking for a 7.1 system; I plan to replace A23 in the HTS2310 package with A26; of course only if I get a deal wherein such swap is allowed or else I will go with individual components bought separately. As it is Centre in the package is A223C* which is weaker than A225C which is available separately; lets see.

Don't think such a swap is possible until or unless you know the dealer very well...

In that case, how about buying all the components separately? like a pair each of A26 and A23 for Fronts and Surrounds; and Centre-A225C and the SW in the package. Will that be possible?
