at that budget i would suggest bookshelves for overall sq. brands to consider for speakers are wharfedale diamonds, kef q series, usher s520, bose 301's, monitor audio bronze. amps you can look at are nad, cambridge, marantz, yamaha...

For Trance and electronica

I would say floorstanders would be a better option if you have the room for it.
Purely because of the ability to play low end with authority. Bookshelves have limitations
what is your room size ?
If you like your bass and since you are on a tight budget go with the Wharf Dia 9.5. you will not be disappointed.
The Klipsch RF series (RF42/52/62 )is another safe bet but that may push your budget over the top. However good for the genres of music you mentioned and since they are very sensitive They can get away with low powered amp.

Thanks flash,
for the genuine advice. I ll look for auditioning both. I have marantz ls 340 oldies in working condition is that good enough or should add new speakers.
What amp should i go for ls 340 and for warf. Dia 9.5. And my room size 26' x 12'. I have to keep in mind that i connect two turntables through a mixer

Honestly with your Genre of Music. and room size. Look at the Klipsch RF 62 / 82 seriously.
The Wharf 9.5 has tremendous low end. But since they are warm speakers. I am not too sure if you would like the sound signature of the speakers for trance etc.
The Marantz LS is a good speaker. If you feel it can cope with your room size and music. Keep it.

For amps Look at Cambridge Audio, Yamaha AS500/700
NAD 356 or Marantz PM6005/7004 if u like the Klipsch. Since they are bright, a warm amp like Marantz/NAD would help tone down the brightness

Another good option is too look at preowned amps. Time to time someone lets go of brilliant amp at probably 1/2 the cost because they have upgraded etc.
Look the for sale section and see if anything interests u .
