Speakers for Denon AVR 1612

Hi Guys,

I am very much new here been learning a lot, thanks for this great forum, Today i Bought Denon AVR 1612 on Ebay, I have no Idea about Speakers to go with it, My Budget is not so high but i need a decent sound, I cant buy all complete set at once...Was wondering is it possible to buy tower speakers first then sub and surround later? Wht are the best options for tower speakers to go with AVR 1612, Plz nothing more then 25-30k on tower speakers....
Wat are the brands i should consider....and if u ppl have any idea of model numbers and price it will be great help...

and reason i dont want to go to store to check directly is those guys confuse Customers when they see person with not great knowledge, and i want to make sure i know wht i am looking for before i go to shop...please help me out here guys//...

I would say go and audition the tower speakers and only then invest. I was so darn confused after I heard a few brands and the confusion only got even deeper the final day when I picked up my floor standers.

Go to any of the stores in town and listen to the speakers yourself 1st hand. There aint a better judge than your own ears.

A few stores I can recommend is Audio Planet, Kormangala. A gentleman by name Palani runs this place and you can audition Mordaunts, Wharfedales and Monitor Audio here.
Vector Systems on Brigade Road, again for Wharfedales. ProFx on MG Road for brands like KEF, Polk et all.

And brands did you say ? Phew !! That's a long list.
