Hello,

I need speaker system 2.1 or 5.1 for room size 650 sqft (Sports room) prefrebly 5.1 system. should accept USB, HDMI inputs Budget upto 10 K.

How big is the listening area? Do you want sound to reach for a large audience?

Go for PA speakers if you have a large area. This will work if all the listeners are looking at the front of room. These come with horns, are loud and can easily such a large area.

If the idea is to provide just an ambient, low volume music while the gathering interact with others, alternative is multiples of on-ceiling/in-ceiling speakers.

What if i prefer a normal 5.1 unit what wpuld u suggest

If you want a 5.1 where the listeners would be sitting in such a large area, you will have to use PA speakers, with wide horns which have very wide dispersion.

Although, is the room size is 650 sq ft? If so, where will the listener's be most of the time? Mostly listeners are usually in back 50% of area. Thats the one you need to target.

Its a sports room containing Pool TT and a Carom table hence the listners would be spread accross the area..:D

Attached the layout of the sports room The upper roof is made of tin sheets and might leak in the near future hence its risky and difficult to fix PA speakers

you need outdoor stuff if you have a roofing
and decently robust wiring these should be your main criterion in the long run

passive speakers are less of a headache to maintain in an outdoor environment

5.1 - you can forget
well you can even forget stereo for that matter

your application is pure commerical
pure mono

theres no way you are gonna get or enjoy stereo here

you are never gonna get a surround effect

so please forget that

you are looking for a pro audio solution for a games room/confernence hall
basically commercial installation

get 6 of these and connect 3 each in series to each terminal of the amp

and 1 of this
Norge Audio

the other option is to go completely PA
with a PA amp and PA speaekrs
however those are mostly for voice rather than music

Well said.

trying to use domestic equipment in this kind of an environment is not only ineffective, it is throwing the money away. There are all too many restaurants, bars, shops, etc, where you can prove this.

May be another better option is Buy a Ahuja PA system (with USB available) and get Ahuja Wall Mount speakers too. It should cover your whole area within your budget.

Certainly PA started out as an abbreviation for Public Address, and some people associate it solely with announcements at train stations and airports, but many others now use it to mean speakers that are used in a public place, whether it is a small hall or a huge open-air concert.

I hear classical music concerts over Ahuja speakers regularly. Whilst I'm sure they leave a lot to be desired, I enjoy the music and don't really see the need for anything more in a background-music situation. If this can be done within budget it is really the answer. Frankly, if it can't, the budget is not enough!

Somebody earlier mentioned mono. This makes a lot of sense. You can't have a stereo image in such a situation: everybody gets out-of-balance sound!

Prepress
Have you heard the ahuja wall speakers with the 250 rms amp you mention

I am surprised you like this or prefer it for music

Ahuja stuff for music is not gonna fit in this budget
