Squeezebox Touch Remote not Working

Remote of my Squeezebox Touch has suddenly stopped working. I have not been able to find any problems, have changed and checked the batteries.

Can anyone guide on the possibility of repair of remote?

What are the options available to replace the remote?

Any input would be welcome.

I use an Ipad/phone most of the time. In rare cases, a Logitech Harmony remote for SBT. Works perfectly fine for me.

Let me see if I can find my SBT remote, if nothing works for you, I can give you that as I never use it.

You can also use an Android phone, with either the SB App or something else called Ipeng(IIRC).

Out of wi-fi range and dont want to add a special router.

You can buy a universal remote.

I think not, because, if I understand it right, the Duet controller does not work by IR, it works by wifi.

My Duet controller has got steadily less usable over time. The wheel thing now hardly works at all. I find it much easier and better to use an Android app to control the player. This is rather sad, as the controller part of the set costs more than the player!

The Duet remote seemed like a really classy and smart thing when it came out. Smartphone touch interfaces, now, make it seem rather clunky even when it does work.

I know of a technician who may fix it. The seeker also sent me his SBC for repairs. Yoy may PM me for the details.
