Stabilizer Needed for Toshiba 39 inch LED !!

Hello,

Just bought a Toshibha 39 inch LED FULL HD, (P2305ZE). Called the Customer Care guy, just to ask if he can recommend a good stabilizer. To my surprise, he said " No requirement for the stabilizers as its a LED tv unless you are having voltage fluctuation frequently. Use it for your own satisfaction. Just protect your TV from high & low voltage".

However i want to use voltage stabilizer for my new LED tv. I narrowed down to 2 products.
1) V-GUARD Mini Crystal Voltage Stabilizer. Price Rs 1300 approx
2) V-GUARD Crystal Plus Voltage Stabilizer. Price Rs 2400 approx

I searched for the specifications and i found Mini Crystal can only be used till 32 inch LED tv & Crystal Plus are made to withstand tv till 46 inch. Rest all the specifications match.
However Mini Crystal model has a capacity of 1.3 amps and Crystal Plus has the capacity of 3 amps.

My friend is using Mini Crystal model for his 40 inch TV.

Please guys help.

Your friend's tv is not protected at all here. Very likely to fail during a fluctuation, as he is overloading the stabiliser

Ignore the tech guy's suggestion and go for a stabilizer, fluctuations or not.

There is also a V-Guard Crystal Voltage Stabilizer.
Do you think it will hold on for my 39 inch LED.

i agree with alby tommy here,inadequate protection is no protection at all IMO,what matters in an stabiliser is the power range within which it operates,simply ignore the technicians advice and buy the crystal plus as per the recommendation.the difference is only 900 odd bucks but atleast you will have peace of mind and like the wise men say..better safe than sorry.

Yes bought 2 stabilizer, both from V-Guard for my 32 & 39 inch LED.

a SuKam power guard is enough for the TV i think.
these V guard models are not with servo mechanism to deliver a constant voltage output.
its giving a low and high voltage cut off i hope.
in that case a low/high voltage cut off is enough

Isnt this SuKam power guard Switches off the TV iff the voltage drops & goes beyond the threshold level?? How irritating is that?
Which one you are using isn't this enough as a substitute for a stabilizer?
