Can anybody provide any inputs on the same ?

Hi

I'm not familiar with the particular turntable / cartridge you're referring to, but if you plan to order from abroad, I find Welcome to TurntableNeedles.com - Analog: for those who know music. has a very good service. They are currently offering free shipping worldwide, and I usually get my items within 15 days max, haven't faced any problems with either the order or the post yet. Do check them out.

before rest of the users color your mind, let me congratulate you for having an opinion. (about loving your system when most people ignorantly think tt s are crap or outdated etc.)most people these days have n t got any.
now a days the entry level carts and stylus aren t coming cheap and moost of the stuff you get is auiophile grade as only pure audiophiles are digging into vinyls.
however if you are happy with you system and do not plan to upgrade, audiotechnica stylus with cart is available from chennai. the address is in this very forum.
please note that most styli are cartridge specific, meaning one stylus wont fit every cartridge but only the one/s it is compatible with.
hence you either should get the stylus that fits your existing cart, something not necessarily easy as many of these things aren t produced now a days. or you can get a full set itself.
audiotechnica at91t cart + stlus. is readily available at chennai for approx. rs 1500. the one on the link u provided is also okay . as are entry level products from shure and ortofon.

Hi,

I was recently donated a PS-LX2 without a stylus and got the stylus from turntablestylus.co.uk. Placed the order and had the stylus with me in two weeks flat by ordinary post. Cost me INR700 approx. You may want to search all types as some are a bit confusing in fit and value. The stylus
works beautifully and I have also become a fan of vinyl in the process..:clapping:

Did a quick check on your TT, and it appears the cartridge isn't replaceable, so you'll have to go ahead with that matching stylus for your existing cartridge.

entsurgeon, is this chap in Chennai an authorised Audio-technica dealer or something? I remember checking the AT website sometime last year and the Indian dealership listed there said they don't stock turntable parts.
