subwoofer connections

I own a paradigm 3100 subwoofer and a denon avr x2000 please help meout as to how do I connect these:sad:

Hi I had the same dilema and reserached a bit on the web and connected.

jsut connect the subwoofer Preout to the white LFE terminal on your woofer(Even you can connect to the red one also).

Put the Freq at 12' O clock position as a starting

You can connect SW preout of X2000 with coaxial cable to Left input of Paradigm SW.
There must be LFE written.I cant read in picture though but see something written near Lt/white input of Paradigm.

Can some advise me on cut off frequency phase alignment and subwoofer level too

I would need a Co axial subwoofer cable can any one suggest weather its important to buy a branded cable for the same ?

Hi Nickhill007

You need to connect the subwoofer cable from the black subwoofer out from Denon X2000 and to the Red (RIGHT) input of the subwoofer...this is meant for LFE

Paradigm

The subwoofer volume should be in the center...you can adjust the level on the AVR.....the frequency cutoff levels can be determined after you review the specs and performing frequencies of the other speakers connected to the AVR....this needs to be done carefully to ensure that you cover all frequencies and experience proper sound quality and imaging.
