Subwoofer for Yamaha-673 + Mordaunt Short Mezzo speaker system

Hi,

I have almost finished my HT with the following config: :clapping:
AVR - Yamaha rx-v673
FS - MS mezzo 2
CS - MS mezzo 5
SS - MS mezzo 1
My hall is in L - shape of almost 200 sq feet (9x9 + 9x14).
So now require a sub to complete it.
budget: Rs 50,000 (at max 55k)

Mezzo 9 is out of my budget
I use it for 50% music and 50% movies.
So pls recomment me a sub which suits my requirement and system.

SVS, Rhythmik, HSU , REL and Velodyne make some good subs.

SVS specially makes some really good subs and have an authorized dealer too. Recently forum members have bought SVS subs in mumbai , you can pm Santy for more details on SVS sub.

Not sure about other subs but I guess SVS PB1000 comes close to your budget. It would be ideal for your requirement.

If you wish to give a higher preference to music then it is SB1000; tight and musical. But you will miss that ooomph when it comes to explosions and ... uhh you know. PB1000 is as loud as 88 db at 20hz which is quite good at this price point.

Basically its a trade off between music and movies (at this budget). SVS is available with Audire : High End Audio, Video and Automation
