Subwoofer suggestion for Yamaha RX-V683 + WHARFEDALE DIAMOND 220 5.1 HOME THEATRE PACKAGE

Now I have further queries for you

I have 2 possibilities
1) Use OWM3 for surround and height. I would like to mount the OWM3 to the ceiling just above the listener position (little ahead as per recommendation).
Doubts - Is it alright to use OWM3 mounted on the ceiling? Would the mount that comes with the speaker work or would I have to buy separate mount
2) Use BIC America Venturi 3.5 inch woofer DV32-B for surround and one among the following for ceiling (installed above the listener in the false ceiling)

For home theater, invest more on sub than surrounds. Surrounds are active for a only a fraction of time, and sub will supplement those effects also.
OWM3 is more than enough for your requirements, it is ceiling mountable directly with its own holes.

Yes..It is fine..I suppose those speakers come along with bracket..If not, you can consider getting MX speaker brackets from Amazon.in..

price to performance ratio of BIC is amazing...In India Polk is hot right now. I compared pl200 sub to polk dsw pro 10 inch and the pl200 killed the polk in almost every department. Agreed that bic has 12 inch woofer while polk has only 10 inch. But the price of polk is more and the specs are inferior. Also, polk audio has 1 year warranty while BIC comes with 7-8 years i think.
