Hi

Looking for 5.1 home theater set up for my room. It should be wireless.

I know wired are the way to go but due to limitations of wiring etc , i need a wireless solution only.

I have considered the Philips htl 9100 wireless soundbar @ 42k or the yamaha cinema projector series.

Any experiences and recommendations will be very helpful.

Thanks

You could always go for wireless AVRs. There are pretty good ones out there : Denon, Onkyo, etc which offers wireless bluetooth and wifi on the go... These are one of the best solutions.

Although, you could get yourself an entry level AVR, tilted more towards sound quality, and later you could add wireless modules to it. One solution is, sony SBH20, which is a bluetooth module. You may connect this to your AVR and enjoy wireless streaming. This is an inexpensive solution to go wireless..

I, for one, have H-K AVR which haven't got any wireless capabilities. I am thinking of trying to make it wireless by hooking it up against sony sbh20. Lets see how that turns out..

Actually what i am looking for is wireless speaker system especially the rear ones.
Something like the philips htl 9100 but it has mixed reviews and is already discontinued within a few months of launch.
