Suggest me a Stand for my Home Theatre

Hai,

I own Yamaha yht 299. I am now looking for speaker stand and selected 2 models.(4 nos)

4 x Imported Speaker Stands for 2.1,5.1 & 7.1 Satellite Home Theatres 4 Nos. | eBay

and

4 x Satellite Speaker Stand Height Adjustable Floor (4 Nos.) Platform Type | eBay

Suggest which one is good.

Hi,

You will first need to see the 4 speakers carefully in terms of weight and hooking up options...the stands compatibility to hold that weight when speakers are not being used and its weight when speakers are being played.

Most important would be the screw gauge that fastens the speaker to the stand..check if the right size, threading is available....you can also look at Tono Systems...they make good stands backed with warranty.....I got my wall mounts from them for my Boston Speakers and it looks neat.

These stands look very 'weak' but I guess good enough for satellites. While I was also looking for stands, I considered these as well as tono systems but my need was for bookshelf and not satellites. Finally I decided to get my stands from Soundfoundation. The stands looks stunning, heavy and very stable. I feel even I sit on them, they won't break. hyeah:

Just checking soundfoundation for surrond speaker stand. Also checked amazon india. totally confused. i m scared about it may fall just like that. lol

Really hard to make decision.

I have bought a surround stand from soundfoundation. I have placed my Sony bookshelf as surround which is heavy and the stand is perfect at a height of 35".

Where is Magma????
