Suggest TV for PS3

Hi all,

I am planning to buy PS3 and also TV. Main reason for buying PS3 is to watch movies which I download. Currently I have a Philips 29" CRT HD capable TV 29PT8836 + Onkyo HTS 3105 and watching movies on this setup is not as good as watching on my PC (22" LG + Altech 5.1), so I buying PS3 on my TV .

After reading through this forum I am leaning towards Panasonic LE8, LX800 and LG 3280UR. I am from Bangalore and my bargain skills are low; I asked few shops and their quote is 30K for LE8, 35K for LX800 and LG3280UR. Is these prices are reasonable? Is there any other model should consider in the 35K range?

And for PS3 nobody wants to step down from the MRP 25K? Is there any shop where I can get it for lesser?

For your price LX80 is for 32k max.LX800 is best for game on PS3.(beware of regions)Only prob with LX800 is panal which is not uniform.But price you are getting is best,here in Mumbai for 42k.

Typo - read LX800 as LX80.

I just bought Samsung 40B550 yesterday for regular viewing as well as gaming (PS3). Fantastic TV. No lags whatsoever. Blu-ray and HD content looks superb. Finally I can look forward to watching my Dark Knight Blu-ray in full HD immersed in 5.1 surround over Bose speakers hyeah: ! Drool !
