Suitable speakers for my new Yamaha RX-A571

Hi,

I am a total newbie for this field of sound engineering and audio equipment and configuration. But recently I decided to start setting up my own Home theater system because.. I just couldnt bare to listen to the LCD speakers while watching any good movie or listening to songs.

After weighing my options I went online and selected a Yamaha RX-A571 which a friend will be getting from US. Now my concern is for the speakers, Didn't go to many demos ...went to just two but I now realize that Bose is not up to the mark as the small speakers definitively leave something to be desired for and my budget for two front floor standing speakers now is (that I feel is the best choice to make for a HT within the Living room measuring 30x15 approx) around 30k. I could stretch a bit more depending upon the speakers and the design.

As of now I am leaning towards JBL 190bk. Which would set me back about 32k. I would really like your assistance in this matter and appreciate any feedback ?
Cheers.

Hi, I have recently got Yamaha RX-A710 from USA, just like you, and am looking for a good set of speakers. I'm currently using Pioneer home theater set. The speakers are old but good. However, i'm looking for more punch. I have shortlisted Polk CS 10 for Center speaker and Polk DSW PRO 550 as subwoofer. Polk CS 20 would have been better but due to space constraint i have to settle for CS 10. Again i have very little space for tower speakers and may have to settle for Bookshelf, something which i have not decided yet but i'm inclined towards Polk TSi 200.

Cheers!

hey, thanx for the reply.. I was running out of time so wanted some suggestions soon... but i guess am little too late.. I already asked my friend to get me A710 instead of 571 .. no more change or upgrading is possible although when I visited the Audio people Store the other day I was amazed with the sound clarity the Monitor audio carried... also checked Klipsch RF 62 @ my friends place.. with a Denon .. I just loved the sound and quality it was oozing.. any coments on that .. bcause I was all set for Klipsch many in these forums say Yamaha+ klipch is too bright... http://www.hifivision.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
