System suggestion Denon + Tannoy

Hi All
My cousin is trying to setup his hometheatre, budget is not his first concern but wants a good quality , overall happy to spend 3L area for the whole setup

He choose the Denon receiver as his starting point

Denon 9.2 ch receiver model AVR X4300H

Now please check if these speakers suggested to him are the right ones and will work together nicely

Tannoy Mercury 7.4 Front flr standing

Tannoy Mercury 7.1 surround speakers

Tannoy Mercury 7.C centre speaker

Elac dolby atmos speakers IC 1005

Tannoy Revolution sub woofer TS2.10

The room is a 17x21 sized room and its dedicated HT room

denon 4300 avr and tannoy mercury are both good. pl ask him to audition and buy if the sq it is to his liking

The choice of AVR is great, am sure it is got enough muscle to drive anything you throw at it.
Audition different combinations of speakers, also if possible you can check out Marantz AVR SR series.
Go for Dual Speakers, they're great for dedicated HTs. Other brands you may look at is Polk DSW series, Velodyne, SVS, Dali, BIC America etc.
Take time to audition and decide....do not hurry.

Don't go for Tannoy Mercury but go for Tannoy defination or precision series. Paradigm monitor series,

Tannoy Mercury lacks finesse. Its just raw power. Specially the trebles are really unrefined. Bass is ok. You can do better in this budget. Like Dali zensor 7, elac debut f6. Also always audition before buying.

Thank you for these suggestions I will show these to him and let you know if you have any queries.

He has been to tons of auditions but we being from Madurai a tier 2 city makes our choices very low

For dedicated HT and with movies has a priority, then I would advise to look at Polk RTi and Signature series. These are proven speakers for genuine movie experience. Dali Zensor speakers are also a well known brand and they go well with Denon AVRs.
Ask your friend to audition until he finds the right combinations for his ears and soul.

Hi guys

It's my first post here
Thanks all for your suggestions.

The room size is 20 sq ft X 17.5 sq ft
Acoustics done on the ceiling and for side walls wooden panel is about to be done (let me know if any better acoustics ways are possible )

Just ordered Denon AVR 6300 from US! (The thread starter is buying me form there)

Now, should I go for Epson TW6700 or 8300 projector ? does the 4K enhancement in 8300 will make a huge difference ?

For speakers I liked the Tannoy mercury 7.4 ,book shelf , center and dolby elac and it was amazing but looking at the comments here I have decided to go for Polk A9 OR A7 fornt and center and the rest can be added later!
