Tangent Audio Amplifier Repair

Hi I am Abhay Sukthankar.I am a moderate audio enthusiast. I had bought a Tangent AMP-100 which gave me good service for two years but has stopped working now.The shop I bought it from ( Sanen-audio) has probably folded up.

If anyone knows where to get this fixed, do let me know. I have tried their Denmark office but they say there is no service representation in India.

I am Ok to take this to Shivaji Park .It is not too heavy.If I can get a contact number I can fix an appointment and be there ona Saturday.

I had tried the Sanen numbers from their website but get a reply that the numbers do not exist .Their shop at Mulund is closed.

You can try taking it to Akshay Jha as well. He is a forum member has repaired my Cosmic and many Sansui amps as well
He stays at Military Road, Marol

Akhay Jha is ultimate I heard , but heard he takes his own time ..is it true. @ Rickv , how aws his rates? as I have 1 cosmic and 1 pace lying at my place , and friend has technics and sansui,but frankly do not want to overspend on it!

In many ( but all cases), a good technician can repair audio gear. Good techies are worth the money you spend..

Hi Abhay, did you get the amp fixed? I know somebody in Vile Parle who is good with amps, that is why I asked.I no longer reside in bombay otherwise I'd have loved to repair that amp.

Totally missed this post of yours
Akshay's rates are reasonable and i don't think he takes his own time.
It does take time to find faults in old amp I guess
