The best way to clean DVD player lens

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum, so I don't know whether this is the correct place to put my query.

There is query since long that whether the lens cleaner CD/DVD available in the market, are really does cleaning. Or they just fake you by doing something that is of no help.

I'm still confused about how to clean lens. Should I believe on the DVD cleaners or I should go to the service center? Any ideas?
