The Klotz Speaker Cable 1.5 mm2

Recently I'd bought 5 meters of Klotz speaker cable from hifimart. It's too good for its quoted lowest price range.
I'm using presently a local interconnect (below rs.100), though this cable produce uncolored sound, I'm listening songs in these days after a 3 months break. So suggesting to others also...:clapping:

this has been a hidden gem for sometime now

i use it at home as well
KLOTZ is actually a german cable maker - mainly into pro audio
much like belden

and much like all pro audio gear
its pretty non decrepit and only "looks" plain jane
However they publish all specs and their quality is world class

No snake oil - no jig jag
this is what you pay - this is what you get
all their specs are well published - no bullshit audiophile writeups


they are used in many european studios as well

I see hifimart have only the 1.5 mm cable. Are other variations not available?

and then theres the big boy
4.0 refernce

the 1.5 and 2.5 are basically the same
only differnce in the thickness

However the 4.0 has different values and structure
as per klotz

Rather thin at 1.5 sq mm. DC resistance is about 0.024 meter for the pair.
A minimum of 2.5 sq mm would have been preferable.

I just discovered that the standard 14 awg ( 2.18 sq mm) Canare cable is available with OFC copper conductor also ( 2S9FG ) . Any idea who might have that locally ?

I didn't check the web site to see if HiFiMart had the larger cables. Apparently they have.
Wonder why they show a picture of their balanced mic cable in the ad for speaker cables ?

I couldn't find a listing for the Klotz unterminated balanced mic cable.

Some doubts- Above link shows that different thickness of same series cable. Why you mentioned that klotz 4.0 series as reference level?

the differnce is only a color differnce ( jacket )

the 4.0 is differnt because of its electrical specs
