I would suggest buy tonearm cable of SL-1200MG5 from kabusa.

Installed me Shure M44-7 cart today on the 1200. An excellent cart with great bass and highs. I've used the extra weight provided as well and tracking at 1.5gms. Been listening to rock from a while and this cart really sounds fantastic.

RP, I can't agree with you more. Contrary to popular belief, the M44-7 is well and truly one hell of a work horse. It is loud and aggressive as no other and kicks out punchy bass like no other. And further more, with that Technics S-arm, it would probably track even a chapathi.

Fully agree with all the views on the Shure M44-7. I have installed on my Philips 242 and now the low gain/bass have disappeared and the TT is singing :clapping:. I was missing the details with the stock cart and I should thank Sachu/Om/RP/Raghu to introduce me to the M44-7 cart which fits exactly to the tone arm.
