I've been asking around for this model in Bangalore but none of the dealers seem to have any left. I'm in Coimbatore and the only dealer here has a few units left and is quoting 12k.

I guess I'll pick this up for the display and built in WiFi, both of which are missing from the Sony 4200.

Well! I haven't bought it yet. One of our members, Srikar, has a brand new piece up for grabs at 10k. I'm now torn between the BDP-170 and the Panasonic DMP-BDP230. The optical out on the Panasonic will come of good use if and when I buy myself a Cambridge Audio Minx TV, which depends on how much I can sell my Onkyo TX-SR608 for
