Trip to munnar

Iam planning a trip on next week to munnar. I want to know is it a good time to trip?
Rain may interrupt the journey?

It is good time to visit Munnar now. The rain is not so heavy. Enjoy the cool misty climate and beautiful sceneries.

Best time to visit, me & wifey went for a memorable road trip for 8 days there years ago. Same period, best season to visit. And cheaper hotels too, it's a bit of an unseason now. Guess you already know about Munnar. But best of Munnar is in the outskirts, winding roads and endless unending plantations. How are u traveling btw

sree0320, now is a good time to go. The place is beautiful with light rains.

I'd cycled to Munnar from Ernakulam this June-end. Quite a bit of showers on the way, but great fun nonetheless.

If you're biking/driving over you should not worry at all.

I wanted to go there for the independence weekend, however all the places seem to be full. Does anyone have any contacts of any place suitable for a family of 4 ?

I was just checking goibibo which I regularly use for hotel booking. Munnar has lot of hotel options now, suggest you book before leaving. Try make my trip also. Go by the ratings and check traveller photos of the rooms also. Happy touring.

Check Agoda for hotel deals. I'm going to Munnar / Thekkady / Alleppey too next month and found the best deals on Agoda. Quite a bit lower than MMT / Yatra / Go Ibibo etc.

One of my colleagues had been on a road trip to munnar last week and he mentioned that it was excellent weather, no showers at all.
