In Kolkata, there will be many who has tube amplifiers.
Since the objective of all this is to listen music, I request you listen them, compare them and also read about them.
I am not sure which audio related shop can demonstrate a tube amplifier to you, there should be some shops.
My experiences with some tube amplifiers tell my ears that they generally are very much a transparent amplifier having much more ease of control in the mid range. Which does not mean they are poor in low and high, but somehow the mid representation glues you to your listening session.
I presently have a tube for mid and high and a SS amp for the low, I am happy as a child.
