Did anyone heard of tunebox?
TuneBox is a wireless audio receiver, providing a hassle free way to play music from a mobile device to a Hi-Fi system.

Tune box seems to have a wooden enclosure.

There are many a similar devices with branding " airmusic". I used one from merlin. Merlin airmusic always has a 5 second + delay between selecting the song and playing.

Saw another one with Wolfson DAC

Yes. It has 5 second delay. I think the price of the WiDAC-Audiophile is expensive. I used TuneBox before. It has 2 second delay. I think is better. haha.hyeah:

I have achieved the same thing using Raspberry pi which also supports AIrplay. with a much lesser budget ...

It is similar with TuneBox.
Maybe nexum is a new brand and concentrate on audio quality.
So it is higher than normal price.

Not much on the url.. Its under construction. Any other link where I can get more info on how to use Pi for the purpose?

Search for pi musicbox, volumio or rune audio to start with..... Will give you an idea how to use pi. There are many pi based music players with support to AirPlay
