A few days ago, I came across this video and actually had a smile while watching it and thought - what a scrap piece of junk, i wonder whether it could be of use to anyone. May have been picked up from some srcap shop or something:

And today I found this, amazing stuff and that too, I've never seen an amp where one could switch off one channel

Of course, there is still some crackling and stuff but it is actually singing

Today I discovered another maker of hand-crafted Indian turntables, operating out of Delhi. www.ebi-audio.com They have a nice website, but no details or prices of their turntable products.
