The TV needs to play all format from usb. Also this TV is basically for my parent, so it will be mostly for DTh and movie.
Also is LED a better choice or LCD. Sound quality should be good or crystal clear.

For 12-14 ft its better to go with 46/47 inch LED TV's but at 50k budget you will get only this LCD (also considering the brand factors)

Better demo all 40 42 46 47 inch TV and see which one suits you better. Some feel that for 12 ft 40-42 in enough but some feel 46-47 inch is enough

From these 4 my choice go with either Samsung 40EH5000 or increase your budget and go for Sony 40EX430 (around 55k)

This TV is good by better go for EH5330 if you can increase your budget (around 5k) . As in EH5330 what I found is even thought it has additional feature of Smart TV (for which all thinks its 5k more) the PQ in many ways also better from EH5000 and EH5003 (this is absolutely a crap model dont buy this)

hehe..no I just meant all of us target the biggest possible screen within our budget thats why......
also his screen to seat is 12 feet....a good distance

Ya but 50 inch with 1024X768 px resolution looks like resolution is a bit low even though viewing distance is 12 ft

Go for 46 inch one EH5000 as it bigger than the 40 inch EH5330 which you have mentioned. Still if you going for 40 inch EH5330 is highly recommended

I m getting the 40inch 5000r for 42k and the 5330 for 53k through local dealer.

Can you tell me which shop gives u 42k for 40EH5000. If you getting it at this price then its great go for that. but dont go for EH5003 (39 or 4inch this is not a good product)

Actually it is in exchange for my old tv at 3k. The quote i got is 45k and 56k.
The shop is in Dombivli. So do you think it is worth to pay 11k for 5330. Since my da is also not going to use Smart tv. Also the specs of both the tv look the same.
