Hi All,
I was inquiring for UPS for my projector - Benq 1070 and AVR - Yamaha 196
The Microtek person suggested to go for two UPS instead of one.
Wanted to know from gurus if this is right thing?
In our society, there in one common Generator set which switch on when power fails. Sometimes the switch over is quick and sometime might taken 2-3 minutes.
So during this switch over, I want to protect my projector and AVR system from surge and need some standby time so that I can switch off projector.
He is quoting
INR 3400/- Microtek - 800VA for Projector (Line-interactive)
INR 3400/- Microtek - 800VA for AVR (Line-interactive)
ELSE
INR 5000/- Microtek - 1KVA for for both AVR and Projector (Line-interactive)
Please let me know if I should go for two UPS or single? also, if the above power watts is correct one?
Projector is around 300 W and say AVR is 300 W, so total is 600W, so from my limited understanding I think that - INR 5000/- Microtek - 1KVA for both AVR and Projector (Line-interactive) should be sufficient.
If I go with two UPS, then I think instead of 800VA, 600VA should be sufficient for each device i.e. Projector and AVR
