URGENT HELP NEEDED......MY Brand new LED TV shows 196 hours usage time...

I purchased samsung 32eh4003 yesterday n after going through this forum i checked the usage hours.

It is showing 196 hours....please suggest me if it is common for a new tv or if it is a used piece.....

everything else looks alright...no scratches or no marks anywhere...

Many customers has this doubt about the usage hours for a brand new tv...should it be ZERO/ or something in the range of 150-250 is at the manufacturer itself???

Try and speak to the dealer who sold you this set- and ask for a fresh piece. As it is a LED - there is no great problem about this amount of usage- but at least the dealer should have been upfront about it (if at all he knew) Do you know the model / year month of manufacture? Check on the carton to get info on the import/ manufacturing etc etc.
There is a small possibility that this was " restored" piece i.e. one that the company took back on an earlier dealer/ customer complaint and reapaired it. Manufacturing companies usually test a TV for about 24-48 hrs.if they do.

thanks for ur replies...its samsung 32eh4003...i talked to the dealer this morning, and he agreed to replace.....so now i will have to check the usage hours for the new one as soon as it arrives...
