Have you enabled your TV as "secondary monitor" in Laptop?

yes sir I did it... could it be in the cables? connection from AVR to 3dTV is AV1 (composite cable-yellowcolor) and connection from LAPTOP to AVR is HDMI (profigold) . When Im in the 3dtv i select the mode "INPUT" - AV1.

do you think this could be the problem? do i have to purchase another HDMI cable?

@onkyo12... buy another HDMI cable for Receiver > TV connection to get the best result.
As HDMI carries digital signal, you need not to worry about so many "so called" jagrons like "gold plated" or "high speed" etc.... Get a cheaper one. This will work for you. But while purchasing, please be sure that the cable is 1.4a variant and not a 1.4 one... because I read somewhere that 1.4a carries 3d signal.

SIR saikatbiswas82,

I'll will try this... but i think the HDMI i bought is 1.4a ready. ill try to buy another HDMI 1.4a cable... and let u know soon.

Thank you

Your connection from AVR to TV is the wrong. You should connect HDMI out of AVR to one of the HDMI of your TV. Since yours is a 3DTV, buy a version 1.4a or highspeed HDMI cable. You can also use standard hdmi cables. So the connection should be as follows:
HDMI out of laptop > HDMI in of AVR
HDMI out of AVR to HDMI in of TV.

Yes, when you connect source(laptop) > HDMI > AVR
You have to connect AVR > HDMI > TV (for most AVR if not all)

This is because the video signal is not processed inside AVR, so it is just keeping the audio signal for itself and forwarding the video signal through HDMI, as it is.
