Vertical Red line in monitor

i have 2 monitor ,1 of samsung 22" and other of acer 22 "
few day back there was red line devloped in samsung monitor which is connected to pc and acer is connected to tv tunner card via set top box .
i ingnore the red line as i thought it was due to bad cable .now suddnely it is devloped with acer monitor 2.

Please suggest what can be done ???

check the cabling.. try swapping the ports... might be a loose cable or earthing issue..

is it a constant red line or random.. ??

Hold the TV firmly in your hands along the edges ...
Now carefully turn the TV 90 degrees on its edge.

Does the vertical line remain?

Problem solved!! hyeah:

Is your Tooner damaging the monitor screens? Unplug it at once and test independently.

a vertical red line usually signals a panel problem with the lcd...

Yes a vertical line is mostly related to cable fault from the main board to the panel or even lcd panel fault.

Try to connect the monitors with other cables and with another computer.

Do a factory reset on monitor. Leave it unplugged and unconnected for 5 mins. Then turn on....
