Saw an AD of SRK today in various channels which means that they are betting on big for their new latest technology so thought to start a new thread so that all members can share more on it

What all I know is they are currently implementing this technology in their new [42 , 46 , 58] inch 3D LED TV in which you dont need a SET TOP BOX (STB) for watching SD nd HD channels.

Would like other members to tell me more on this as I am planning to upgrade from SD to HD STB.

It may be the same as the STB integrated with the TV. Earlier videocon have an LCD where SD STB integrated so that you don't need a D2H STB for watching videocon DTH.

There is no advantage in this unless you are a fan of D2H HD.

If it is not this, please post more details.
